Yoga Challenge

  This is Travis writing this morning from a bluebird Philadelphia morning. As August approached Heather and I decided to challenge one another and fellow family and friends to try and do yoga each and every day of August. We started the summer solstice in June with 108 sun salutations which either of us had never done, it was a great to get the body moving while giving thanks to the mind, body, and earth. It was a feat that we look back on with pride and accomplishment. Now if we could just set aside some time in our daily devotion to clearing the mind and challenging the body to new heights.

  It is now the 10th of August and I personally have done 8 out of the 10 days. Those two missed days make me regret not creating some time as little or as long as needed to challenge myself in mind and body. Oh well, I can't dwell on it now, its now become my goal to finish the month strong with no more missed days. I know I can do it and I encourage any one out there to set a simple goal like this for each of you, it doesn't take much, a little time, focus, and zero money. The satisfaction of knowing that your body is nimble, strong, and prepared for our future years creates a calming sense of clearheadedness (if thats even a word).
